Professional regulation

The law on professions in physiotherapy (Masseur- und Physiotherapeutengesetz MPhG) of 26.05.1994 (Federal Law Gazette I, page 1084) can be viewed here.

The professional title is “Heilpraktiker” (alternative practitioner/naturopath/non-medical practitioner/healer/holistic practitioner).

The “Heilpraktiker” law on the professional practice of medicine without a certificate (Heilpraktikergesetz „Gesetz über die berufsmässige Ausübung der Heilkunde ohne Bestallung“) of 17.02.1939, amended by Art. 53 of the EGStGB of 02.03.1974 (BGB1.
